Important Notice in respect of Postal Applications for Attestation Services

 

Keeping in view relaxation on internal travel, it has been decided to discontinue the attestation services extended through postal means w.e.f. Wednesday, October 27, 2021 in the case of residents of Ontario.  Postal applications for attestation service received after the cut-off date of October 27, 2021 will be returned by the Consulate.

 

Consulate will continue to accept postal applications for attestation services from the residents of Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland.  Apart from all the requisite documents required for different attestation services as mentioned on the Consulate website, the following has to be mandatorily provided by the applicant for postal applications:

 

  1. Pre-authentication by Commissioner for Oaths/Notary Public Office (Manitoba), Executive Council Office (New Brunswick), Department of Justice, Legal Services Division (Nova Scotia), Office of the Clerk of the Executive Council (Prince Edward Island) and Deputy Minister’s office (Newfoundland)

 

  1. Copy of Passport for verification of signatures.
