Apostille Certificate: Important Instructions

India is a signatory to The Hague Apostille Convention, 1961 since 26 October 2004. Canada became a member of the Convention on 11 January 2024.

In accordance with the Convention, any Apostille Certificate (including e-Apostille) issued by a competent authority in Canada requires no further attestation/legalization by Consulate General of India, Toronto.
